Meghan brings to Haylor, Freyer & Coon a solid background in workers’ compensation claims management. After earning a degree in accounting from Niagara University in 1989, she began her career as a senior retail representative for Land O’Lakes in Arden Hills, Minn. Her responsibilities included managing wholesale accounts and indirect ad groups, as well as the retail management of over 100 stores in Central New York. In 1994, she accepted a case manager position with Liberty Mutual in Syracuse, with responsibility for the management of workers’ compensation claims. Promoted to senior case manager in 1995, she was given the added responsibility of managing a claims service team. Her credentials grew in 1998 when she completed an associate’s degree in risk management. Her experience includes;

Multi-state coordination for claims review and risk management meetings
Training customers on proper procedures and protocols mandated by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board
