Personalized coverage that protects

Auto Insurance

Whether visiting friends and family, running errands, commuting to work or enjoying the open road, you rely on your car every day. So you need a comprehensive auto insurance policy that you can rely on too, and that means not having to choose between affordable car insurance coverage and the right car insurance coverage. It may sound like common sense, but too often in today’s insurance world, customers purchase policies that don’t have them – or their vehicle – fully covered. That’s where Haylor, Freyer & Coon can help, with partnerships and people that balance low prices with high levels of protection.

With over 25,000 personal insurance policies in force, we are able to leverage our size to secure the most competitive automobile rates available today. Of course, providing great rates is only part of what we do. Our licensed Personal Insurance Account Managers take a closer look at each policy and situation to ensure you have the maximum coverage that you need – not what simply meets state minimums. To make sure you are always covered and protected in any situation, we provide supplemental coverage for uninsured motorists. After all, your car is important to you, and you’re important to us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my auto insurance cover my pet?

Generally animal passenger coverage is an add-on insurance product. This coverage is usually available to you at a low or no additional cost.

Does my auto policy cover me while driving for Uber or Lyft?

Typically personal auto policies aren’t designated for people who use their car to transport others for hire. The coverage is limited and you can face problems when filing a claim. Make sure you’re covered and ask your agent specifically for a rideshare endorsement.

Is auto insurance mandatory?

Nearly every state requires a minimum amount of auto liability coverage. These coverage requirements vary from state to state.

Exclusions to Review*

  • Ridesharing (Uber, Lyft, etc.)
  • Damage resulting from wear and tear
  • Insurer intentionally causing injury or damage
  • Vehicles being used for racing purposes

*Not applicable to all insurers and policies. The matrices of local, state, and federal laws that govern auto insurance and the variation between policy types and insurance carriers are far too complex to list every situational exclusion that is applicable for all. Below are some common examples of coverage points/clauses that may detail these exclusions in the policy and should be carefully noted when purchasing coverage. We strongly advise consulting with a licensed insurance agent to review your policy and discuss any situation where your claim may fall into exclusion and be denied.
